At 5’6” and 215lbs, 40 year old women at the same age, weight and height (who come up in google results) look NOTHING like me. I’m perplexed. I’ve lost just over 25 lbs and would like to lose another 35.
To give you some idea: Most of my clothes are a medium or large and I wear an 8 in Lululemon leggings. I fit just fine in a coach airline seat. My bra band is a 36. I do low impact strength training exercise 5+ times per week and I have for a few years now. On the other hand I have very large breasts and a terrible double chin. I also have thick thighs and upper arms.
This causes a couple issues. (Thoughts, not requests for diagnosis)
-
Do I have body dysmorphia where I think I look better than I do?
-
Am I much farther away from feeling good about my appearance than I think?
-
Could there be something wrong with me?
Basically I’m looking for anyone else who weighs a lot more that what you appear. Am I alone in this? I’m interested in responses from women especially.
