I (34M) got married last year and my wife (29F) loves to cook a lot but I have been eating way too frequently. I am now a 6'2" 270 pound dude,approximately 75 pounds overweight,as I have gained 115 pounds over the past year due to overeating and look drastically different now from when I was pencil thin at 6'2" 155 lbs when we got married. She also put on some weight,5'7" 210 lbs,and we both agree this is disappointing and we shouldn't have allowed ourselves to get to a point severe like this.
I've contacted a dietitian last week and I honestly think I'm gonna just do whatever he tells me to do in the future until I notice significant progress,I genuinely want this to succeed and don't wanna keep getting more and more out of shape. Even if I unfortunately might not be able to get back down to 155 again,I just wanna eventually get below 195 atleast just so I'm not overweight anymore.
I hope people on here don't mind this,just wanted to vent a bit.
