I worked out yesterday for the first time in like 2 years. I did a 5 minute warm up, 5 minute ab workout, 15 minute beginner workout, 5 minute ab cool down & 10 minute leg cool down.
I could definitely feel the burn! My ab area actually had a burning sensation which I have never experienced before. I did the ab cool down before bed as well as I could feel I was starting to ache.
Now I've woke up and am definitely aching more. My ab area & glutes/hips seem to be the main achy areas.
What should I do? I was really looking forward to getting back into fitness and was excited to do it again today but don't want to make it even worse and possibly extend not being able to workout even more. I overdid it in the past once and ached so bad I could barely sit up and it lasted like 5-6 days. Just don't want to experience that again.
What do you do in this situation?
