Hi everyone, my birthday is in 27 weeks (10th December) and I want to be at a healthy weight for the first time in my life.
Context: f 23yrs 5”6 200lbs I have been trying to lose weight literally since I was 12 years old. I have a problem with binge eating and impulsive behaviour which is linked perhaps to undiagnosed ADHD. I have an appointment with a psychiatrist in October (which feels ages away but it was the soonest) so hopefully that will be clear soon.
I feel that losing 2lbs a week is very difficult. I want to start making a plan but I want to make one that I can stick to. My tdee at this current weight is around 2000 so I plan to eat 1400 cals and burn 400 with exercise. My question is if I need to do all 400 in the gym, how many calories should I aim to burn in the gym in your opinion?
Also, does anyone else feel like their period just derails your life and diet? Like I can’t control impulses even worse than usual and eat obscene amounts of sugar.
If anyone has any advice I am open to hearing it. Thanks
