I am very confused about what to classify my activity level for my TDEE.
I don’t own a car and walk everywhere (for groceries, appointments, etc), 1 hour of walking in total to work (half hour there and back), I am a teacher so I am on my feet all day (lots of walking too) but don’t have my phone on me to see my steps. At the end of each day, I average 10,000 steps (without taking into account steps at work). Weekends I average 15,000 to 25,000.
On top of this, I work out in the gym 2-4 times a week. A mix of lifting weights, dance classes, HIIT classes, and running. I also enjoy to hike in my free time.
I know most people say to always set your TDEE as sedentary but this just doesn’t feel right… I was thinking lightly active but also felt moderately active could be a possibility considering I have a sort of active job and I’m active outside work?
Please help a girl out! I’m very lost on this…
