Hi guys I’m just wondering if this is normal. I always got told to weight weekly and not daily for obvious reasons.
After a period of depression, I gained like 10KG. I’m trying to lose it by going back to my old diet (plant based) and eating smaller portions again. I bike twice a week to work over 2 bridges š (so calorie burning) and work at subway so I burn calories standing all day.
But within 2 weeks I lost 4KG? I was thinking it’s water weight but I drink plenty. I also eat every meal of the day. Every day I weight myself I see the scale go down.
I’m 178 and was 79KG. Now I’m at 75KG. This diet is definitely maintainable because I’ve been doing it for years until i lost my parents and started binging on non-plant based foods.
I’m just excited to see it more soon because I have chub rub nowadays. But I just am worried that it might not be real and smthn else is going on? I just base it on medical knowledge and what foods are more useful to eat and worth it. and NO oils (I don’t add any oils to cook at all).
I also quit eating chips (binged on them almost daily at first) and I used to eat whole packs of Oreo’s in 1 sitting
Ofc if I were to go back to my old binge diet I’d gain it all back …. I’m just confused bcs I’ve never had to lose weight before. So I AM doing smthn good?
(My goal is my old weight, 65KG)
