So I hit a milestone this morning in my weight loss journey, and have mixed feelings about the accomplishment.
I started this journey almost two years ago, at 382 lbs, lost 60 lbs over the coir of the spring/winter, and hit a plateau that fall that lasted until the following spring.
Since then, I’ve dropped 130+ lbs, and while I’ve seen many positive improvements in my motility, size, and appearance, I also find my mental health degraded, with noughts of extreme sadness, anger, and frustration.
I’ve taken it out on my family, but I can’t bring myself to eat a little more, or, be ok with having a snack, or treat.
Has anyone else gone through this transformation, and wondered if they were better off having not?
