Is stomach refusing fast food normal when losing weight?

I've been doing a small calorie deficit and exercising more. My dog absolutely loves it. When I get to exercise more I get to eat more, so we end up going on a bunch of walks.

Each Saturday is my cheat day with a catch. I still have to be under my calorie deficit. This means if I want something from a restuarant and it would put me over my calorie deficit, I either can't have it or have to exercise it off.

So far it's been working great! Not only have I been losing weight, but a bunch more benefits that are way better. Less pain moving around, less pain doing chores, no more crashes in the middle of the day, better work performance, better happiness.

On cheat days I've noticed odd changes. At first, it was the reason why I was able to keep going when I desperately wanted something (versus the never again mentality)

Then I've noticed that my mood is sky high until Sunday, where I'm in a terrible mood.

Few weeks back I had a veggie burger and fries from a place and didn't feel anything off. Now I ate it and I instantly felt awful, and have felt awful all day. I didn't even want to eat any other cheat day items and just ate normal healthy food because I felt so bad.

I'm currently 6.5 weeks into this little program I have of healthy food and a calorie deficit, is it normal for my stomach to suddenly despise fast food and want nothing to do with it? I'm no longer thinking these cheat days are worth it if it's going to cause extreme pain, even if I'm still under my calorie deficit. I've noticed that even looking at most fast food makes my stomach churn at this point as well. It feels like my body is insanely happy with my changes and gets angry whenever I eat how I once did, even if smaller portions. To be fair, with such a drastic mood shift with less anxiety, depression, and overall happiness increase, perhaps I'm just feeling how I once did and didn't realize how bad it was. I'm so new to losing weight in a slow and healthy manner that I'm very confused lol

TLDR: Is it normal for your body to instantly be upset at you over eating fast food/junk food after 6 weeks of not doing so?
