Hello, so I'm a 19yo trans girl who's been on HRT for about 6 months. I am 5'10" and 220lbs, which according to BMI is obese. This came as a surprise to many as whenever I would show concern over my weight, everyone would tell me that I already looked healthy.
Around early 2022 I was about 160lbs, and before I started HRT in July 2022 I was about 187. Since starting HRT I have gained much more weight, mainly due to hipbone growth, fat redistribution and an increased appetite. I'm vegan and try to eat whole healthy foods when I can (though I'm not great at it), but don't exercise much beyond lots of casual walking.
Despite never feeling sick or having any health issues besides some fatigue, it's obvious I need to lose weight. What dietary changes can I make, as well as exercises that will help me lose weight in the areas I need to (tummy, arms, under my shoulders)?
Any advice I'd really appreciate, thank you!!
