So I've been feeling pretty good for the last 2 weeks since I made this post and I think documenting myself felt good since I still don't feel very comfortable talking about it with anyone IRL.
My average weight since my last post has remained under 400 which is such a huge accomplishment for me. I've been weighing myself every morning and there was at least one day where it climbed back over 400 which really hurt despite the fact I tried to prepare myself for that to happen since weight changes so much.
I've upped my movement since my first post as well. The program I joined through my insurance has recommended 7500 steps every day and for the last 2-ish weeks I've consistently been meeting that goal.
Every day after I make myself dinner (I've eat a lot of lean proteins and veggies for the most part), I go on a walk around my neighborhood. Parts of my neighborhood are quite hilly and I've been using a hilly route to get my heart rate going.
Tonight I came to a part of the walk where I could continue uphill or cut it short and head back home. I almost started heading down when I remembered how good I've been feeling with my progress. How badly I want to reach my goals.
So I decided to own that hill and do it.
I feel great.
I want to keep weighing myself daily to get an accurate average of my weight but I think the biggest thing I need to work on is not being discouraged when the number goes up from one day to the next. I'm making incremental progress and that means focusing on the long term rather than the short term. Just need to take it one day at a time.
I want to thank everyone again who gave words of encouragement and gave me the motivation to keep going up that hill.
