I'm just pretty proud of myself.

Well, hey beautiful people. I just wanted to jump in and share my victories of this week.

A little background information: I always was a fat kid due to unrecognized health issues, which got resolved when I was about 15y/o. On my highest weight, I was about 220lbs / ~100kg. I'm 5'3"/ 164cm tall. Yo-yoed some 66lbs / 30kg in the years leading up to my 21st birthday due to some mental health issues and EDs. I decided to get better then.

A year ago, I drunkenly ordered a walking pad for beneath my standing desk. I went from being sedentary and sitting 18hrs per day to walking 10 to 20km daily. I started joining virtual challenges and got motivated by the shiny medals. Then I got more motivated by seeing the progress. My eating habits are a lot different and since I got medication for ADHD, I even work out differently. Before that, I could never bring up the strength to do anything besides cardio - now I like yoga and boxing. My weight is healthy and stable, I feel strong and I'm not scared of the scale anymore.

I can run up stairs now. I can open a bag of chips and not inhale the whole thing in one sitting. I even like to shop for clothes now! My body is at 136lbs / 62kg and you know what?

I like how my body looks. For the first time ever. And I'm so proud of myself. And I know that you can get here too! Have a great day and thanks for reading!
