Today I weighed myself and I am 168.8lbs! My starting weight was 222.6lbs, so I am now nearly 60% towards my original goal of 130.
I am so pleased, I have just come back from a holiday, so I was expecting to have put on weight as I couldn’t count calories and I did let loose, but I think the combination of walking everywhere and the hot weather stopped me from sabotaging my weight loss too much.
I’ve completed the journey of going from class 2 obesity to overweight, and I am so excited to continue my journey into reaching a healthy weight.
My plan for getting down to a healthy BMI is to continue sticking to my calories of 1200-1400 per day, and starting to take cardio more seriously. At the moment I’m doing at least 20 minutes of high intensity cardio per day plus at least an hour and a half of walking with the dog, but I am going to join the local pool for some super low impact exercises.
