First week of Eating better

(25f 5ft8”) 7 days ago I started taking a WeightLoss medication advised by my doctor, and eating in a calorie deficit. I want to loose weight as I have hypermobility syndrome and struggle with it. My physio informed me that for every lb we weigh our knees take 3x that in pressure and I want to help myself. So I joined this subreddit and reading everyone’s post really helped me keep motivated!

This week I’ve learnt when I feel satiated and only went over this once and I could really feel how ill I’ve been making myself feel for all these years. I’ve been able to have just one of my favourite snack (happy hippos) and feel content not eat the entire box. I’ve been drinking enough water and finally feel like I’m getting on track to have the healthy relationship with food I’ve never had.

I weighed myself this morning - I lost 9lbs! So I now weigh 19stone. Which is amazing. I never thought I’d loose that much weight. I’ve tried to do it before but I always wanted to do it for how I look, so got impatient and quit. I’m doing it now at a time where I feel confident already so I’m hoping it is different this time!
