Okay so let me explain, I’m currently at a BMI of 36 and today I just happened to look at some old pictures of myself and was shocked at how good I looked even though in those pictures I was at a BMI of 28 (still overweight).
I’ve always struggled with my weight and never ever liked how I looked in the mirror or pictures. However it wasn’t until now, when I’ve reached the biggest I’ve ever been, that I see I’ve been way to hard on myself.
I can’t get over the thought that I wasted so much time hating how I looked and avoided photos and social outings due to it and I’m angry.
Has anyone else had the same experience? How did you stop mentally beating yourself up?
