Went to see a nutritional therapist who said that was my problem. I lost about 20kg in 8 months by counting calories and mild excersise but hit a plateau and cannot move further. Gained about 5 back. She said i can do way more, if I managed to restart.
My basal, she concluded, is at 1550kcal and an app (MFP) suggested 1400kcal, so the whole time I have been eating below my basal but still not losing weight any more. It worked in the beginning but won't now.
She would not give any suggestion unless I signed up for a 2.5k usd worth of program...
I have read so much bullshit I don't know what to trust anymore... Any ideas, ideally with a reliable source?
