I’m 17, 400 pounds and need to lose that weight

I’ve never had much control of my diet in the first place—for the longest time my parents would buy unhealthy foods just because they were “cheap” and we were “saving money”, or my parents would cook extremely unhealthy foods doused in extremely spicy oil, their version of Chinese food. But now, I’m finally going to college, and I have more control over my diet and responsibility and I really need to lose weight. I’m tired of never having any energy to do what I want, I’m tired of having my back hurt when I sit for long periods of time, I’m tired of having to carry this massive sac of fat everywhere I go. Does anyone have recipes for cheap yet healthy foods I could learn to cook? Preferably ones that are easy to prepare as a new college student. Are there any tips for how to lose weight for the final few months while I still live with my parents? And how do I get my parents to prepare healthy school lunches? Out of convenience my parents have resorted to purely buying store brought meals, and I know those can’t possibly be healthy.
