hi! ive been lurking this subreddit for a while but ive finally decided to post.
last year from around march to july i lost around 10 lbs, most of it being over the summer as thats when i had the most time to spend working on myself and wasnt too busy with school. (im in highschool) i felt awesome at my new weight and was genuinely starting to feel confident after years of body image issues.
when my new semester started though, i was overwhelmed and stressed out of my mind due to both school and issues in my personal life, leading me down a path of 6 months of horrible binges and a whole 20lbs of weight gain.
im 5'5" and currently 135lbs, it might not seem like a lot but this is the highest weight ive been at in my life and i feel absolutely horrible. its affected my social and academic life - i have no motivation to do anything and slowly but surely my grades are suffering.
despite the negative effects this weight gain has had on my life, im having an incredibly hard time losing it - i just cant seem to stick to my plan, despite it only being a 200 calorie deficit. unlike in the past, im having a hard time cutting down on junk food as well.
please send advice. thank you in advance :)
