Hey everyone.
About 2 years ago, I decided to change my lifestyle. I lost 60 lbs in a 7 month span, going from 33% body fat to hovering around 7-10%. During the quarantine and after a break-up, I relapsed somewhat, but now I am back to my peak, if not better, hovering around the same weight and body fat percentage that I had when I was at my best.
I’m 22M. I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I don’t vape (quit about a month ago), I don’t eat out, I sleep about 6-8 hours a night, I feel like I’m doing everything right. Yet for the past year, I’ve had this one area on my abdomen that has noticeable loose skin. It hangs about 1-2 inches over my waistline. Obviously this is not as bad as some have it but lately it’s really been hurting my psyche/motivation. Seeing what the internet says about chances of losing skin after losing weight so quickly is not making me feel any better.
I’ve been back working out for about 3 months now, after working out around 7 months to start, and on and off again during quarantine. Based off my age, lifestyle, and amount of time spent working out, do you see the loose skin going away without surgery?
Any advice would be appreciated.
