2km walk a day good start for weight loss??

Medications

I am all so on Methadone 100mg/5mg Valium at night/40mg Nexium/Phenergan 50mg for Nausea/1000mg of Paracetomol per day.

I was a big boy when I was born so I am big in shape but way over my weight limit.

I have started to do a single 2km walk a day and over next few weeks make it 3 then 4 and slowly get more and more. So is 2km good start for my size, plus I am not a big veg person so foods like Meat/Fruits/Bread Like Holemeal and Eggs AND Small meals since I'v got a really slow Metabolism
