I walked another 32km (20 miles) today.
My rationale this time was that I had a gathering at a friend's place all the way in LOHAS Park. And of course I had plans to show up fashionably late.
I covered the route in three separate sections with two short rides on public transport (one was because I had to cross the harbour and the second was because the alternative was hiking and I had promised not to go hiking solo).
This time my journey lasted 6 hours and 45 minutes, 15 up from last time despite covering a similar distance. But all of that extra time could be attributed to the ferry and the subway - I calculated - and all the times I had to stop and open Google Maps to find my way around.
No more long walks after this. Seriously, it's taxing on the legs and feet.
To be exact, the route I planned was about 31.8 km but I had to run around at the end point because I kept getting lost. So I guess it could technically count as 32km.
And of course, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holidays to you all! My gift to myself this year is a new wardrobe and a few pounds off the scale, and I've never been happier!
