I’ve been doing the yo yo dieting for a long time. I’ve experienced body dysmorphia since I was a teenager. I’ve been skinny. I’ve been plus size. I’ve been fit. I’ve been everywhere in between.
Now I’m not. Now I’m morbidly obese. Now I’ve put my health, physically and mentally to the way side for years. The old saying of “I can always start tomorrow” ringing through my head.
Well today turns into tomorrow. And tomorrow is my future. The only way to sustain a future is to make sure that I start today. So here I am. Holding myself accountable and taking the first steps to a new lifestyle and a whole new woman.
I’ll post the good and the bad here. These posts may be met with response or not and maybe someone reading can relate to the trials and tribulations of such a massive journey. We are ultimately in this together.
So whoever is reading, whether you’re on your first step, your 1000th step or you’re in your last 10 steps to your goal; I’m joining you now.
