Is there anything wrong with having lower than the recommended amount of calories for a deficit?

(M17 5'10) I've been trying to lose weight for a couple months now, I started at 97kg and got down to 93kg on the 26th of July. I've been trying much harder since the 26th by lifting weights, doing walks and keeping track of what I'm eating each day and will continue to do so.

Today I'm at 90.6kg which I'm happy with so far, but some days I'm only eating 700-1000 calories and I'm just wondering if there is any downside to eating lower than recommended for a calories deficit? I know the recommended is 1200 and so if its better I could try and reach that but if not then I'm happy to stay at 700-1000

Thanks in advance for any help and advice :)
