Context: I use Yazio to keep track of my calories, and I use Strava for my walks/runs/commute by bicycle. Yazio also keeps track of burnt calories. For example, the app keeps track of the amount of steps you’ve walked each day and the calories burnt by that. It can also track activity from other apps, like Strava.
Now let’s imagine this: today I burned 800 calories. 400 of which are from my Strava recorded walk, and 400 are from my step counter. How many calories have I actually burned now? Actually 800, or a bit more than 400? Have the majority of steps from my step counter been from the walk I recorded with Strava?
