How do you find a good balance between under-eating and overeating?

Hi guys, my weight loss journey has been a rocky one, as it usually goes. I’m getting close to my 20 kgs mark, as of last week I started paying attention to what I eat again, after 2 months of maintaining. I just can’t seem to find the right balance between eating too little and eating too much. I’m constantly worried about overeating, even if I introduce my portions to a calorie tracker app, I’m still terrified that I’m eating more than I should and it makes me hungry sometimes. I know I shouldn’t starve myself, as it does more damage than good, but I don’t know how to find that right balance. Any tips?
