Starting to get really serious about getting in shape. I’m about 3 months out from my wedding and more long term wanting to set a good, healthy example for my step kids, and be ready to start trying for my own little one after the big day.
I’m hoping to lose as close as I can get to 2 pounds a week which should put me a few pounds into “average” and move me away from the higher end of “overweight”, along with toning my muscles, and keep myself in the habit of health over a crash and rebound.
I’m committed to not giving up and eating “kid food” because it’s easier and actually listening to my body when it says no wheat or dairy. Every time I let myself eat macaroni and cheese I end up inflamed and sick. My step kids will never branch out if they never see us eating lentils and onions and peppers and all the beautiful colors we’ll find outside of bread and cheese.
I’ve lost 12 pounds in the last two months but I’m here to keep myself accountable and get those last 22 off before the holidays.
Thanks for the support!
