A little bit about myself I’m 24, 5”9, and I weight ~200 lbs. I guess telling my journey would be helpful. I put on some extra pounds due to my college years and my unlimited meal swiping plan. During my 3rd year, I got tired of how I felt and decided to hit the gym and in the process really got into powerlifting. I was able to accomplish many different lifts and I still do to this day but now it’s time to work on my belly. In terms of weight training, I’m set but really want to focus on doing exercises to once and for all lose that gut as much as I can. I understand this won’t be a quick journey and I’m more than happy to take on this challenge. It’s time to move on to my diet - so I’ve been eating definitely a lot healthier than I used to. I committed myself to eating mainly salads with some protein. I haven’t completely cut out carbs but I’d say I would consume roughly ~25 grams of carbs a day(on and off). Some days I will only eat healthy greens with no dressing and some protein to accompany it. I break up my gym sessions to 45 mins of cardio and 35 mins to weightlifting. That’s my backstory.
I appreciate any feedback and am open to all suggestions. Thanks for any help in advance.
