Unsure of current body fat % - input appreciated

5'7 / 171.4cm tall

136lb / 61.6kg

I've been cutting weight via CICO, weight lifting 4-5 times weekly, and OMAD/IF since February.

  • 500 calorie deficit daily (average).
  • 16lb loss in 3 months (152 to 136lb)
  • Scales today: 12.9% BF
  • Calipers today: 7.07% BF
  • Size loss: 3 inches waist, 0.75 inches chest
  • Supposed fat loss: 14lb
  • Supposed LBM loss: 2lb
  • Protein intake varies: 70g - 120g depending on lifting/rest day.

I think it's pretty obvious I'm not 7% body fat. My questions are:

  • Do I look as high as 13% BF or more between the 2?
  • Should I take the scales as more accurate and ignore caliper BF calculations from now on?
  • Is it likely I've actually lost way more LBM than is being calculated? If so should I cut slower to avoid this more?
