Hi all! I've been somewhat unsuccessful on my weight loss journey thusfar, and I could use a bit of help. I exercise twice a day (strength + some light walking before work, usually some type of incline walking, running, walking in the afternoon to get my steps in since I work an office job) and try to stop eating at least 2 hours before bed (since my stomach feels weird when I go to bed full). Eating is my biggest problem, and I find that I tend to eat the most during dinner. I plan out my breakfasts and lunches, including snacks, but the problem strikes when I have dinner. I still live with my parents (not moving out in this economy) and I find myself at a loss of how to count the food they make at home. Preparing my own dinners as well would cost more money, take up more space in our fridge, and I wouldn't be able to eat the food they so lovingly prepared! Depriving myself of cultural food to lose weight isn't really an option, and my mom, being diabetic, will always make healthier versions of traditional dishes. I just need a bit of advice on how to count the calories, so I have a better idea of what I'm eating for dinner. Thanks!
