First things first, I've never been an active person before. But I've tried to add more walking into my life and I have an active job, usually ending up getting me somewhere between 7-12k steps every day. And most of my day I stand or walk around instead of sitting besides the breaks.
Usually on my free time I also go for additional walks, usually around 3km as it's something that goes with ease and doesn't take too long.
The question is, would walking be enough exercise as it's own? I could take up on trying to achieve that "magical" 10k steps a day no matter what. Or should I perhaps do something else besides that, for example, some muscle workouts at home? (Gym isn't an option right now.)
