Wanting to lose another 6-8kgs

I’ve been on my health and fitness journey a few years now, but I’m still not at my goal weight. I am estimating I want to lose another 6-8kgs as I am trying to get back to my weight when I was in my early-mid twenties. I think 5kg might be a good starting point as I lift weights and have been trying to body recomp, so my body has developed a little muscle compared to back then. I would like to achieve and get back to a low body fat percentage, flat belly and hopefully abs one day.

I haven’t managed to get under 68-70kg without huge calorie deficits. The lowest I got was 66kg, but quickly got back up to 68kg eating again. I feel like I’m just maintaining.

Bad timing for me is, but I have a small umbilical hernia, which I have elected to get surgery next month to fix. This means I won’t be lifting for 4 weeks post op. I am so paranoid about losing the progress I have made and going backwards in my health and fitness journey.

Any suggestions or tips from someone who has done a cut before? I need to find a way to lose weight with little to no exercise, I know the answer is be in a calorie deficit but I honestly feel like I’ll need to be around the 1,200 calorie mark or less to actually make the progress I want.

My current stats for reference: 33 (F) 167cm 68.7kg (this morning)

Also noting I have hypothyroidism and an Autoimmune Condition (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, which means my thyroid doesn’t function properly anymore but I have been on medication for the last few years. Therefore, hoping my levels are ok and my metabolism isn’t too slow - gained some weight before diagnosis and managed to lose 6-8kgs, but can’t get past that since).

I know my biggest challenge is food. Considering doing some meal replacements. Noting I don’t really eat breakfast, just lunch and dinner.
