I am a female (5’6”) in my mid 20s and my starting weight this time was about 200 lbs. I am down to 184 and started around 4 months ago. I am feeling like that is such a slow pace and am having trouble celebrating my progress. Ideally I would get down to around 130. I feel like the start should be the easiest part and I’m looking at an uphill battle I thought I’d get more momentum for.
I do think I am falling into a great rhythm and becoming more consistent in calories (~1550 goal). I am trying to make myself acknowledge the slow pace probably means I am making sustainable changes and I definitely want the loss to stick but I just am feeling unaccomplished and somewhat discouraged. Any advice for staying motivated, pushing for more sustainable progress and celebrating small wins?
