i'm new to trying to lose weight (literally started on monday). i'm trying to eat around 1500 calories a day and i go to the gym 3-4 times a week (strength training 2 days and cardio the other 1-2 days) so I thought this would put me in a deficit, however I've gained 0.1kg which I know isnt a lot but I'm wondering when I'll start to see weight loss or if im not doing this right? I'm 18, 5'6 and 71.4kg if that helps. am I still eating too many calories? what would be a good amount to eat for my size and activity level? honestly any advice about starting weight loss or things to help me lose weight with diet or excercise would be helpful. thanks :)
