SW:97.4kg ,CW:97.4kg,GW:80kg ,my height is 183cm ,body fat percentage :35%
.I have been on a diet for a week and I have already broken the diet foir times by consiming chips and chocolates .I am a prediabetic and I was given an option either to take medicines or follow a strict diet ,I chose the latter ,the diet I was put on by a dietician has two goals to reduce my weight and to reduce my blood sugar levels .I brought my shoes and went out to workout once ,my god I couldn't get up with the body sores .
I can't maintain my diet ,I can't maintain my gym routine ,I am a Masters Student I am on holidays now till July 15 ,I have lot of catching up to do on Coursework too,I can't do that too because I am so conflicted as to whether or not indulge myself on snacks and whatnot ,on top of this I want to include running in my schedule (in addition to going to gym)
My ideal setting is waking up one to see myself following the diet ,going to gym consistently ,doing my coursework ,going a run and by the end of 4-5 months eventually reach my goal weight .I have been surfing this subreddit for long and I have read so many inspiring journeys ,I have to say kudos to you guys ,I chose the latter path of diet and workout to bring my sugar levels under control because you guys (ie) the ppl of this subreddit have inspired me .
Pls share how you guys managed to be so consistent and how to get over the ups and downs and not feel demotivated when things doesn't go your way ?
