I am doing this all over again, I had already done this process 5 years ago and gained it all back. This time I want to keep it for life. I am 33yo and not a kid any more, if I don't look after my health now I will have trouble in a few years (family history of high blood pressure, weight).
I take a reading of the scales every day as I like to record the data and I also find it helps in ensuring I don't lose track or spiral out of control, but the con of this is that upward fluctuations can be disheartening. While I know that this can be expected when you weigh daily and there's good reason for it, does not mean I gained or did not lose, it still feels like progress is slowing down. Yesterday I was at 86kg, had a slightly bigger lunch and dinner than usual, this morning 86.4. Just have to suck it up, keep going, and remember how hard it was to lose it when I get to the maintenance stage.
Sample of my daily reading below, mostly day on day loss but the times I deviate from my routine, or there were some events where I may eat a bit more (still being very controlled and while not counting, definitely still with calorie deficit) I get upward fluctuations.
