I just wanted to share my protein waffle recipe as it tastes great and helps manage sugar cravings.
Here is the ingredients list :
- 1/4 cup wholewheat flour (or 50g)
- 1 egg
- 100g plain yogurt (or greek yogurt) - 3% fat at most
- 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein (around 30-40g)
- A few drops of vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of baking powder
If it's too thick, add in a tablespoon of skim milk or water until the texture is nice.
Then just pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron and let it cook for 1.5 to 2 minutes.
This should yield 4 waffles each being ~110kcal (10g Carbs / 2g Fat / 10g Protein).
