Protein waffles recipe

I just wanted to share my protein waffle recipe as it tastes great and helps manage sugar cravings.

Here is the ingredients list :

  • 1/4 cup wholewheat flour (or 50g)
  • 1 egg
  • 100g plain yogurt (or greek yogurt) - 3% fat at most
  • 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein (around 30-40g)
  • A few drops of vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp of baking powder

If it's too thick, add in a tablespoon of skim milk or water until the texture is nice.

Then just pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron and let it cook for 1.5 to 2 minutes.

This should yield 4 waffles each being ~110kcal (10g Carbs / 2g Fat / 10g Protein).
