Should I up my daily calories to get more protein?

So I started trying to lose weight this week. I’m 5.1F so went with a 1200 a day limit as I’m so short. Looking to lose about 17lbs to begin with, hopefully most of it by the end of august/beginning of September. I’m also doing 30 minutes of strength training a day mostly just squats and push ups. I’m looking to tone up a bit and gain some strength as I’m really weak. Thing is I have heard I need over 100g of protein a day which feels impossible especially on 1200 calories.

Yesterday I had some scramble egg with cheese and chorizo, then a milkshake (not particularly healthy but had 12g of protein) for lunch and chicken for dinner and I don’t think they came out to even 50g of protein before I hit my calorie limit. So what should I do to get more protein? I’ve thought about protein shakes but was always told they’re more of a guy thing plus I can’t seem to find any that don’t list nuts as a possible allergen. I also plan to up the amount of exercise I do at some point too.
