Is it normal to weight a little more after starting a workout routine?

I'm not doing anything major, just some more abs and legs workouts; I've only been walking for the past year and a half and I decided to get back to workout. I'm noticing that I weight a little more (from 2 to 3 lbs more, this morning I was 6 lbs more, but I guess it's because I've been eating a little more due to PMS). I've been freaking out because of this little weight gain, I don't know what to do. Is it normal to weight a little more after changing your physical activity habits?
