I started August of last year, and until August I had a lot of weight lost.
I'll lay out my body generally.
I measure my weight every 20th.
I'm a male.
I'm 19, turning 20 in March
I'm 4'10.5" (I just put an even 10 in mfp)
I'm African American
My starting weight was 395
My current weight is 345
My goal weight is 120
My maintain weight by mfp (my fitness pal) is ~3k calories.
I'm on track to losing 2 pounds a week.
My current calorie intake is ~2k i usually eat 2 to 3 hundred calories below.
I've been sick with strep throat and have been on antibiotics, medical steroids (just to help with clearing throat of phlegm), and other cough and allergy medications for now.
I've not very active (I do sound work for my Chruch so up and down steps but not like anything more than 5 times. I also go to college so minimal walking)
I have low blood pressure compared to my parents. My family are surprised that it's usually lower, but I think it might be due to healthy eating.
I was drinking 85 oz of water recently, but I stopped die to strep throat. It's hard to drink enough water while being sick.
I have a scale and measure everything. I measure any liquid like milk and anything that has calories. I've cut soda (I have been drinking some soda for throat and any nausea feelings since sickness, but it's the first time I've had soda in 6 months)
I now want to gather some advice. I have been going insane by eating right and not seeing fluctuations from 344 to 350. I'm wondering why I'm stuck in this plateau and how to overcome it. My vitals have gotten healthier. Less acid reflux and Lowe blood pressure. I've felt more limber. I can focus more, and I have more stamina doing things. I feel so amazing, but I'm not seeing that consistent weight loss.
I'm not sure what's happening. I promise I'm not miss measuring. My family makes fun of me by how much I wait to eat until I can measure something. I'm not sure if my body has gotten used to my current eating levels. I thought possible water weight. I know I weight a lot, so I would assume there must be some reason the weight isn't coming off as easily like it should. I'm kinda nervous lol. I know it's been 1 month since this stagnation started, and I should probably be more worried if it was 3 months or something. I'm not sure if I need to focus on macros or change my diet. I do plan on talking to my doctor if it happens for another month
I also made this account specifically for my weight loss, so you will see more if me lol. If you would like, you may chat me. I want to make sure my goal for weight loss is going good.
