I really have no idea why I do this, but I have an incredibly hard time saving foods for later. For example, if I have some sourdough bread left and only 2 pieces remain, I have to eat them before I go to bed. Or if I have ice cream and then have some left in the container, I have to just eat the rest- I can’t leave a little leftover in the container. For context I did grow up poor and we didn’t always have food. But even when I tell myself it’s okay and the bread will be there tomorrow, it’s like this black and white thinking kicks in that says no we have to just finish it now. Does anyone else do this/know what this could be?? Anyone have tips or mindset changes that have helped? I can’t find anything about it anywhere but maybe I just don’t know what I’m looking for..
