My body scan is showing I gained fat and lost muscle after converting to 1200kcal.

I started my 1200kcal diet 4 days ago and did a scan back then and again today. I also increased my exercise and weight training. To my surprise, my EVOLT360 body scan said that despite losing weight, I am in fact LOSING lean muscle and gained 0.2 pounds in fat on each arm, leg, and torso. I feel so very bad because I’ve been trying so hard to eat healthier and exercise more. These results scream that it’s having the opposite effect. According to EVOLT, this is not a result of a machine error but because my diet is too low in calories and I’m actually burning muscle instead of fat. I am eating according to the recommended calories in line with my TDEE (which according to the scan has somehow lowered since I started working out). This is all so confusing as everything should be the opposite, right?

Is the scan wrong or am I in fact doing more harm to my body and burning muscle rather than fat by being on this diet?

Please help. I’m feeling very sad and want to give up entirely.
