I’m 19 and I grew up with a pretty unhealthy relationship with good overall. I was the kind of person who used to binge eat a lot . Eat a lot of junk food. And whenever I found a new food or snack I liked, I would continuously eat it until I got sick of it and moved on to the next. Because of this, I’ve become overweight.
I’ve just started my weight loss journey in a calorie deficit and doing some exercises. I try to keep my meals healthy but I still crave all the unhealthy food like ice cream. But whenever I give in to my cravings and have them, I feel really guilty afterwords about the calories I ate.
I want to be happy with food. Both healthy and unhealthy food. I want to have a good relationship with food and feel happy eating food. I want myself to naturally prefer eating healthy compared to junk. How can I do this? Has anybody experienced this?
