How come has my weight dropped so fast after a binge week?

Basically I eat 1400 calories a day, I'm 5'5, 25 yo girl, around 144 lbs. I also walk between 10k - 14k steps per day in my daily routine. I went home for Easter and gained 12 pounds in 6 days, I ate sweets and carbs everyday, hitting between 2800 - 3500 calories every single day. I didn't move at all (literally, I sat on my couch and only got up to go to bed or the bathroom for 6 days) reason why I had calculated that my tdee at sedentary was 1500. I've been back to my usual routine of walking and diet for 6 days, drinking 3/4 liters of water daily and I've lost all the 12 pounds gained. How is it possible if I have overaten in a surplus for a week straight? Is my scale off? Is it alarming? ( I have a past of ED reason why I'm scared when I see a huge drop on the scale. For those wondering why I'm dieting it's because I have gained some and I'm trying to get to 132 in a healthy/slow way)

I'm also asking this question because when I used to suffer from a restrictive ed and have a binge week (going from 800 to 3500 calories) it would take me weeks or sometimes a full month to lose the weight gained in that short period of time (I sometimes gained 15 pounds in a week and wouldn't lose them so fast)
