Hey Guys, I started tracking my meals five days ago. With that I also started to cook for myself. Before that I used to order almost every day since I kind of had (or have) a fastfood addiction plus it was also just so much more convenient. I work with a nutritionist and she gave me the amount of 1800kcal a day, independent of the fact if I‘m doing sports on the day or not. (I weigh 219Ibs, at 5’3“ right now) So here‘s the thing. Only by cooking for my self, eating until I am full and also not eating any snacks (I‘m not supposed to) I only get to 1038 - 1597 kcal a day and the latter was with adding two slices of bacon for lunch and 30g of butter for dinner. Without those calorie dense ingredients I would have been at 1276 kcal. So how is this possible? Is it possible that I‘m tracking the things wrong? I do add the oil I use to fry something to the calorie counter and every other piece that wanders in my mouth. Is it possible I gained not buy eating „too much“ but solely because i waseating fastfood/other processed foods? (I wasn‘t always eating fast food but I rarely used to cook but would rather buy something that I could eat just like that) I‘m really confused...
I tried to loose weight so many times and I never got more than 15lbs in a couple of months and then got frustrated again...
