Tips for staying on track while battle illness?

Hey I posted yesterday but didn’t get a lot of traction so I thought I would give it another go today.

Im looking at advice on how to stay on track when you are disrupted with frequent bouts of illness as a mum and teacher. If you’re not aware being a teacher in early childhood, primary or education support exposes you to lots of lovely germs as kids build their immense systems (and hygiene skills). Combine that with having primary aged kids and im getting hit from all directions.

Every year in flu season it’s one order of flu, one order of Covid, one order of sinus infection/general cold. I feel like every six weeks im getting hit with something no matter how many multivitamins, bone broth drinks, vitamin D, turmeric, ginger, vitamin c, econasia tablets i take.

I was sick 6 weeks ago and finally back on track with my cardio and weights program then a nasty bug spread through my work place and im back on the burner again. Have missed a week of gym and still congested, achy, fatigued, chesty.

My question/s I suppose is to the fitness community is who do I not lose what I have gained when it’s such an uphill battle to stay healthy?

What should I be eating/ drinking during this period to ensure my calorie intake in not too much too little and I don’t lose muscle mass?

Should I still stick to my 130 grams of protien a day even when I am not doing much?

I would really appreciate any advice, many everyone’s in bed at this time 😂 (it’s 1pm here im Australia 🇦🇺)
