Hi all, I'm 20f 5'8 and 175lbs. My highest weight was about 200lbs. I'm aiming to eat 1450 calories a day at the moment. I previously lost 50lbs to get to 145 and then gained it all back when I started university.
I've been losing pretty steadily since the new year and it's been fine, I have a little star chart to lose ~5lbs a month and every other month I get a reward (related to self care, like new gym clothes, a foam roller, expensive body wash, etc)
I didn't hit last month's goal by a pound because I keep overeating. It's not much every day (1600-1700) but it has massively stalled my progress since my maintenance is about 1950. Sometimes I do eat up to maintenance though which certainly doesn't help.
I'm really struggling to continue to eat at a calorie deficit especially because my boyfriend visited for 2 weeks and then I visited my mum for a couple days and I've just been eating maintenance because the food they keep in the house are high calorie and I feel like I can't say no! It's like I forget that's an option. I work a few days a week at the moment and it's been so busy I feel starved at the end of the day.
I'm really hungry a lot but I'm trying to listen to my body more.
I guess I just half wanted to rant but half wanted to ask, how do you keep going when you're just tired out by all this?
