Hey everyone, I'm gonna preface first that I'll be mentioning my history with an ED, just before you give my post a read. So, I used to be anorexic 3 years ago, and since then I've made huge progress in terms of weight gain. I've went from 85lbs to 165lbs. I've gained too much of the weight back and I'd like to lose maybe 20lbs or so. I've been trying for the past year to lose the weight and it has been absolutely soul-destroying. I eat around 1300kcal a day, go for 4 mile walks everyday and I'm just not losing the weight. I know 1300kcal is quite low, but if I eat anymore than this I gain weight. My metabolism is just so incredibly slow. In terms of what I'm eating, I stick to my 3 meals a day. I don't eat any junk food/fast food and I don't snack between meals. I really just can't understand what I'm doing wrong and I've been so patient with myself but it's starting to wear me down a bit. I was hoping I could get some advice on things I could do or try. I'm not very keen on strict dieting because of my history but I'd be willing to try anything atp.
