SW: 164lbs CW: 148lbs GW: 140lbs
This has probably been said before but I guess I’m just looking to vent and for some advice. I’ve been trying to be more social with my friends and with that comes eating out a lot. I struggle to control myself when the food is right on the table. I do make sure to eat my pre prepped food for lunch so that I’m calorie controlled there. Although, after eating out for 2 nights straight, I saw that my weight increased by 2lbs. After spending 2 weeks to get rid of those 2lbs, it just came back in 2 nights.
I understand that eating a lot one night and gaining 2lbs the next day does not mean that you actually gained 2lbs. I also understand that it will probably go away in the next few days. In my mind, it makes sense but in my heart, I still get sad when I see the scale increase by that much.
How do you get over this sort of issue? What do you tell yourself so that you don’t feel so bad?
