Started working to improve myself

I just started going to the gym at the start of January. After years of just not caring/making excuses, I finally had the courage to step up, small thing I know but it's a start.

I also started counting calories, I use a tracker but I'm not sure how accurate it is. I'm confident that I can maintain my diet because I just lessen my food intake. My current calorie limit is around 1900 but I maintain my calorie intake at about 1500-1700 calories per day I was 151.3kg at the start and I believe I have lost 3lbs as of today.

I go the gym 5x a week, I do 1 hour on the recumbent bike at level 9 for 30 mins then go down to level 4 for the last 30; and do some light leg workouts for around 30 mins (the weights for legs, idk what it's called).

I want to start lifting weights just because it might supplement my weight loss. Would love some advice for a real beginner, or just any advice in general.
