Watching calories but not losing weight?

Hello, I'm a 22 year old female and recently started watching my calories and what I eat in general. I have never watched my calories or dieted in any type of way in particular. In my teenage years and early adulthood i would eat whatever and wouldn't gain. But i have been noticing since 2022 that I have gained some weight and my body is changing, I thought it wouldn't be too bad to start watching what I eat and lose a bit of weight. I maybe should note that i'm not the sports-type at all but I never had the impression I was very unhealthy, however i can admit I am restricting myself now on some foods (especially snacks). Now, the thing is, i have YAZIO, paid for it, tracking it everyday. I'm really new to this (I think it's been almost 2 months maybe) and have had days that I went over my calculated caloric intake. But most days i'm in between 1300-1600. I feel like with this intake I shouldn't be gaining, right? But I am. The number on the scale has only gone up since i started. It's making me go a little crazy and borderline obsessive about food and calories etc. Am i doing something wrong here? does anyone have a similar experience and/or tips for someone beginning this journey?
