Switch to recomp or keep cutting?

20M, started my journey in February, at 5 foot 8 196 pounds. I’m currently at 149 pounds. I’m mostly satisfied with my body. But I still have stubborn fat on my sides and stomach, chest, under my chin, etc. I know I have little muscle mass. But i’m curious if getting to 140 pounds will reduce the appearance of this fat? I wouldn’t go below 140 pounds. I start an overnight stocking job soon. So I don’t know to keep cutting, or focus on eating at maintenance with, 1g protein per body weight, and lift weights. Pictures attached of my current physique. I still feel a little fat. But my mom says I look “sickly”.
